Behavioral Health Solution for Children Vendor Updates

December 21, 2023

For groups with Behavioral Health Solution for Children through Brightline

The Behavioral Health Solution for Children, powered by Brightline, will expand its services to support newborns to children 18 months of age. This change is effective January 1, 2024. Parents of newborns and toddlers will soon be able to chat or schedule sessions with Brightline’s behavioral health coaches. They can also access relevant digital resources and content. Materials to help you communicate this change will be available before the end of the year.

State of California Behavioral Health Initiative

The California Department of Children Health Services has selected Brightline as a partner for their Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative. Starting January 2024, Brightline will offer free behavioral health coaching for parents, caregivers, and their kids ages 0-12. Parents can access this feature via video session and chat. This new program, called BrightLifeKids, will address common challenges, such as stress, identity, sleep, and more.

Employees can continue to access regular Brightline services through their health plan or employer-sponsored benefit. There is no change to Brightline’s comprehensive pediatric mental health program.
